About Skidiot's Garage

Tory Jelinek

Tory was born and raised in Snohomish, WA. He has always had a knack for anything automotive or engineering. The drifting career of Tory Jelinek started in 2016, with the same car you see him driving now. However, there have been many iterations of this SN95 in those short 6 years. Three years of Grassroots with a high finish of 2nd place in the series points and straight to Pro-Am he went. Year one of Pro-Am was a tough one with trying to finish a complete rebuild on the competition car and having to take the seat in his practice S197, which was just not quite competitive enough. The following year 2020, he came out strong and placed 5th in overall points amongst veteran Pro-Am drivers, obtaining his Formula Drift ProSpec Licenses. Tory has also won “Most Popular Drifter” at Evergreen Speedway multiple times.

With a lot of big life events happening (like getting engaged to the amazing Kayla aka Skidiot’s Mom), Tory has decided to stay out of Formula Drift but continue to pursue further goals like this YouTube Channel and a future build of a drift S550 for….? TBD.

Besides anything car related, you can find him at your local golf course, golfing it up with buddies in a league or spending quality time with his family.

Carlton McDonald

Carlton was born and raised on Camano Island, WA. In the early years of his driving career, he raced in the WQMA Quarter Midget racing series out in Monroe. Taking time off from motorsports, he didn’t get into his drifting phase until 2018 in his 1988 Foxbody Mustang. While going to college for a degree in Mechanical Engineering, he would spend every weekend traveling back home to come work on his Mustang, help out on Tory’s drift car, or hit the track. After 3 seasons of Grassroots competition and a 3rd place season points finish, he decided he wanted to take it to the next level and build a full FD ready car for Pro-AM/ProSpec and that is when Skidiot’s Garage was born.

Pro-Am was removed from the local track – Evergreen Speedway, but he continues to compete in FD Licensing shootouts to try and win his ProSpec licenses. He intends to continue down that path and hopes to compete in Formula Drift.

Besides anything car related (which isn’t often), you can find him hanging out with his friends or Toast and hopping on the PC to game with the boys.
